A pinned "Weekly Status/Progress Update" at the top of the forum would suffice.
Might be too big of an ask, I guess.
I fully agree with you, your idea of a pinned "Weekly Status/Progress Update" at the top of the forum is exactly what this community needs.
We all know that BF2042 has many problems but just think how much better things would be if we knew what was being worked on and when we could expect a fix.
IMHO there is way too long a wait between patches / updates and during that time players are frustrated with the various bugs / issues that are ruining their gaming experience. A regular progress update on upcoming fixes would at least help to ease that frustration.
It is good feedback.
We talk between multiple platforms so I understand it's easy for players to lose track of our answer between Reddit, Twitter, Discord and our forums. I am not opposed to collecting the answers we provide and collating them into a weekly summary. Will check into what that looks like.
Regards the next developer update. It would be amazing if they discussed in detail.
* future for clans/platoons
* squad controls improvements
* features to support team work in general
* their current thoughts on benefits of having two rounds per match/ swapping sides with same players, perhaps squads, maybe some balancing. As this helps build communities and rapport between players
* scoreboard, is it too focussed on K/d and how it could be updated to better score players on teamwork.
* portal features for helping clans build communities. Persistence, map rotations and some official portals with ability to gain XP contributions to weekly tasks and weapon unlocks etc.
* developer opinion on hardcore mode. Seriously the best mode.
basicaly, bf2042 feels like a game built for individuals rather than teams.
Good post, I have often thought that BF2042 feels more like a single player game.
