Interesting thing is that way back a DICE dev (_jjju_) weighed in on this topic. I think it was back in the BF:Hardline days.
It was on the old official Battlefield forum, can't find it now, but I did find a copy/paste that someone else provided.
The gist of DICE's response was that they didn't really see it as an issue - and what ever issues may be present were on Sony/Microsoft to solve.
Maybe someone more savvy than me can find the original thread in its entirety.
That's several years old at this point. Hopefully they are taking it more seriously now.
I suspect more than a handful of those people abusing KBM adapters will migrate to 'adapter friendly' games like BF as opposed to going legit.
@AngrySquid270 Unless someone saved them I think the threads one the old forum have gone forever (which is a shame as it'd be nice to revisit them as I loved the old forums). I do, however, remember that statement as well and think it was something to do with it being a peripheral.

I suspect that the topic exists in one of those instances. The trick is how do you find it within those crippled pages without access to a typical forum search tool.
