it's not toxic, just the devs need to balance things better. It's rare for me to play on a real clan stacked server (3 or 4 full squads) so i think its a small problem. On those very rare occasions i just swap server if things are the same on the next map.

@DeathRaven_1983 The problem is not the game or the "team balancer" in general, the Problem is YOU (probably Playstyle) and probably mostly your TEAM.
Battlefield is a "TEAM"-based arcade like shooter with a "Battlefield-themed" Sandbox.
EA/DICE also implemented a "Clan/Platoon" System.
A Platoon plays together or if they want to against each other but mostly they will and want to play together.
That's the "reason" because "Platoons" exist in general.
So if people like me want to play with 12+ people on one site in a "Party-System" on an official DICE server (because on RSP Servers you have to "follow" stupid rules or get's kicked for playing "good") without to play against each other, then it is achieving the mostly whished "Teamplay".
Yes, a good Platoon can win rounds, but after a few rounds also the "Platoon" site will loose.
We also notice sometimes the opposite effect so even a nearly entire random team can also win, but what I want to say is, as long the Platoon are no strictly "military" organized Platoon where everyone has to follow "Orders" and "Playstyles" , you can also win against Platoon teams when your Team is playing good. Most platoons are "fun" based or "casual" so you don't have to be afraid, play a few rounds against them and you will notice you can also beat them.

@BinaryNinjaIt's not toxic.
Forbidden Clan Tags or emblems are toxic, but Clans and Platoons are not. Even Team Stacking is NOT toxic.
The reason is simple, because Battlefield is a "TEAM based arcade like tactical multiplayer Shooter with a Battlefield themed Sandbox".
So you can't complain about people who are playing the game "correct" because they are playing as a team, playing with friends.
- @Trokey66 Maybe it’s because you and your friends ruin other players' fun?

Any experienced player has an affect on the game. When they team up and work together that is amplified, but is also part of the game. The same can happen when random players work together.
What can help to balance things (and has been done in many games) is trying to put an equal number of predetermined squads on each side (odd numbers will of course skew that and nothing you can do if only one joins).
Remember though,. not all squads are going to terrorize the other team. Just because they are a clan or pre-made squad does not mean they are any good. On BFV, I joined my grandson and a couple of his friends a few times. Their impact was more to the detriment of their own team.
Unless you bring in the hated skill based matchmaking, it is always going to happen (and as COD proved, will happen anyway).

@DeathRaven_1983So people who play with friends must stop having fun so Billy no mates can?
Seems legit...... - kregora4 years agoSeasoned Ace@BinaryNinja There are many different ways clans or communities work. All have their own policies. On rental servers it starts with more defined rules about profanity and harassment, shotgun and sniper limits and how team balancing works. Expect that the experience will be different from official servers.
But so far we don't have any information if there will be a rental server program, and when there will be one, what controls will be available.
BFV made it very hard to get more than one squad on one team, which was really annoying. But the situation is very different from rental servers.
On official servers, there is usually no connection between me and the enemy teams players, I have a connection to my friends and community members.
When someone plays on one of our servers, an anonymous player becomes a guest. Frequent guests get recognized by the the community, and eventually become part of the community.
Battlefield is a team based game. At least when you see a squad with the same platoon tag, you know that there is a squad that plays as a squad. I understand, to have two squads on one team that plays together is what makes Battlefield different from other games.
I am positively surprised when I join a random squad that plays together, but sadly it is a rare occasion.
I for my part would like to see the option to switch teams return with BF2042, because I believe strengthening the community is better than making community game play especially difficult. - kregora4 years agoSeasoned Ace
When one squad of coordinated experienced players skips the balance on a full server that is what I would describe as a "Battlefield Moment".
If someone doesn't like this experience, why play Battlefield?
In BFV every squad has a squad leader, that can give orders, and every squad member can request orders, and maybe become squad leader when the order request isn't answered.Acting on this orders is, what coordinates squads. Ignoring squad orders is not using all tools available to win.
So when you don't play the game, and others do, do not blame them for ruining your fun!
Yes this is the exact issue and I am seeing it nearly all the time I’m playing… Organised clans are grouping together on one team ONLY TO MAKE IT A EASY WIN for themselves … The balance is the key issue but the deliberate stacking is akin to stat padding which is banned in many other games .. These clans are just farming stats and kd
No I mean organised stacking of multiple clans or members on one team to boost their kd because they get the easy win.
