I think the real problem is the lacking team balancing done by the game, not that clans and friends want to play together. That’s only natural.

If anyone here can't accept that than perhaps this is not the game for you so STOP trying to ruin the game yourself by turning it into something it never has been and never will be!
The problem is that modern Battlefield games don't do a good job facilitating communication between randoms. Battlefield 5 in particular with a very limited communication rose, no 3D spotting and no voice chat outside of your squad. Meanwhile clans can fill two to three squads of their own people, speaking with each other through external voice programs. Squad reviving exacerbated the situation in BF 5 with medics not being necessary to keep squad members alive which meant that they would have to be squad wiped each time to prevent a revive.
The ideal response to clan stacking would not be to diminish the benefit of clans and teamwork but to provide the features and the means to better facilitate teamwork and communication between regular players. More squad management features for squad leaders, nameable squads, local voice chat, squad leader voice channels, a full communication rose with more noticeable UI iconography and text prompts.
For the most part, Dice have made little effort in improving the state of communication between players and with Battlefield 5, we're in a state where we are somehow worse off in terms of communication than we were 10 years ago with Battlefield 3 and a whole lot worse than what we had with Battlefield 2 16 years ago.
- kregora5 years agoSeasoned Ace@Noodlesocks Squad revive is available for everyone, so how does it benefit clans more than other players? It all comes down to sticking together and playing the objectives together. And whether you want to use squad voice or not.
The advantage of a friends team is, that they are used to use voice communication, and that they already agreed on a common language. Basically the best thing to do is to quit a server that has a clan dominating the game.
You need to spoil their fun too.
They can’t farm kills if they enemy team won’t play.
- Jesse1655 years agoSeasoned Ace@VOLBANKER_PC I agree and disagree.
Yes there perhaps does need to be better team balancing.
But it has to be in a way where friends are not forced to play on different teams either. - Jesse1655 years agoSeasoned Ace@BURGERKRIEG Or you could just stay in SinglePlayer games since you won't have to worry about multiple people communicating in games like Mass Effect and Skyrim.
The whole reason multiplayer games even exist is to play with your friends. - @Jesse165 Or you could just stay in a co-op shooter? Like left 4dead or Payday.
The whole reason co-op shooter games even exist is so that you can play with your friends.

The advantage of a friends team is, that they are used to use voice communication, and that they already agreed on a common language.Clans stick together. They're going in to the game already co-ordinated. Randoms generally do not. It doesn't matter how much you want to stick together and play as a team, randoms are generally not playing that way and want to do their own things. So yes, Squad revive is available to everyone but more often than not, your squad mates aren't anywhere near you unless you are lucky enough to find squad mates that do want to play as a squad. That is, unfortunately a rarity.
Like I said, the ideal response would not to be diminish the effectiveness of clan stacks but to improve the capacity in which random players can communicate with each other and work together. It is ridiculous that a game released in 2018 has no way for me to effectively communicate with the people right next to me and that is a major and fundamental problem regardless of clan stacking.

@BURGERKRIEGHow about you just give up with your "opinions" which I can guarantee would destroy this game? Just like how you gave up while going against other teams instead of beating them by forming your own team?
Without teams like this Sports itself would never exist. How do you think games like Football were ever created?

Make a game that is supposed to be centered around teamwork. Then penalize those who use teamwork. Genius. But seriously at most I maybe see 4 or 6 from a clan on in any match. Its not that big of a deal. Get better and find your own group to squad up with instead of punishing teamwork
