people put the gun out in the open next to a bush then they hide in the bush so they can shoot out of it
I find that the sentry gun can only become a problem if too many people place them in the same area.
I believe that a super easy fix for this is to do something like with the mines in older BFV games to prevent other sentry guns from being placed within X meters from other sentry guns.
The sentry guns themselves are super squishy and do not bother me.
