@SeriousJuJu It is the weirdest phenomenon I have ever had in gaming. The server is about 60/40 console players, yet all of my deaths are from console players. There is no firefight, it is just visible, dead.
However, console players say they are mowed down by PC players the same way. So there has to be some terrible cross-play netcode that makes it even worse going cross platform.
Ever since patch 1.1ish or so I noticed a distinct difference. My performance (TTK/TTD) was much worse, and all my deaths were console instakills. Before it was mixed. Now it seems even worse.

The exact same thing here and a lot of those instant kills don’t even add up to 100% health in the damage log, like shown in the picture I posted above.

Here is a lovely one. 9ms death, and to me, it's instant (console). ALAT well over 100 and not stable.

I rarely, if ever, get hit by a console player, live, then get killed by someone else AND never kill them. 99% of the time, if a console player hits me, I die from them in the fastest rate possible for that weapon.
In the pic above, it was the PBX-45. The MAX TTK is 0.212 with CC rounds within 10 meters. However, I was killed in 0.199. How is that possible with my ping of 26 and an ALAT of 137? It's not possible, that's the answer.
The game is predicting my death because the console player has aim assist. It's not the console player's fault, but basically, any initial hit by a console player equals a death for me in every encounter.- RMEChief3 years agoLegend
On the left is where I died, and the point of view towards the enemy (console). On the right is the view where the game said I was when I got shot. That is a good 15 feet with Mackay. The game gave the player the remaining hits to kill me even though I was so far into cover there was no way I was getting hit more than once.
