Each class should have a specialty ranger and up the amount we can call in form 2->4Assault-Can keep the current MG dog just increase its ROF a wee bit.Since assault will be up and front killingSupport-Ability to drop ammo or health box on it.And being able to mark where you want him to go to resuppply or heal team mates.Engi-This one should have Anti vehicle missiles.Being able only to engage vehicles when spotting them using form a certain rangeRecon-Manually being able to control doggo and using it as recon to spot enemies for team.What do you guys think?

@badcuztremysaid What I really think is the Ranger, Specialists, and Stealth heli all need to go. They have no place in a Battlefield game, and have caused nothing but confusion and frustration in the BF community. You have neat ideas, and in another game they’d be great, but BF has moved too far from its roots of being a multiplayer FP shooter and relies on gimmicks to try and make a statement.

I would definitely prefer if the ranger was healing/ resupplying and reviving instead of making pathetic attempts to kill players.Range r- Saint-Bernard version!

I'm really not a fan of lethal AI gadgets. I signed up for a PvP game. I'd like to any PvE elements to be extremely limited.Kills with Ranger are probably the least satisfying kills in the game. No one is going to be creating sweet highlight reels of their Ranger kills.That said, here is one Ranger buff I'd be willing to accept. Let Ranger ride in vehicles. I want doggo riding shotgun in my LAT4V or RZR. Let him stick his head out the window and pretend to be a real good boy.

@badcuztremysaid I think this gadget has no place in a BF game. Anything that is not player controlled should not exist. Its too hard to kill, too annoying when you kill its owner, and it starts shooting you with absolutely nothing you can do about it.

I can deploy it and it runs around clumsily trying to defend me, but have to re-remember the "go there" and "self destruct" etc commands.... Kind of a cool gimmick. I like dogs.

Rangers are mostly a distraction to enemy players similar to the sentry gun that Boris has. No one is topping the score board with Sentry or Ranger kills. So their presence in the game does not bother me at all.
I usually do not use the Ranger because I often forget the button that pulls up the menu to call it in. This is also the reason why I almost never call in vehicles. I often forget these things are in the game until I see other players using them.

I'm not sure it is underused, but it certainly could be used better.
When available, I use the Ranger mainly to scout areas for hiding enemies and occasionally a early warning system when I am capturing a flag solo. I think it would be useful if you could somehow make it patrol between 2 set points.
It's just another tool that's available, granted I could live with or without it in game.

@badcuztremysaidI think that it should just be removed from the game. It’s so inconsistent and odd. Sometimes it’ll actually spot someone for me, but most of the time it’ll map random people, won’t help me in a fight, or wander aimlessly.

The range on it is ridiculous at times. It’ll shoot at me like 300 yards away! Other times it completely ignores me.

It’s a failed experiment in my opinion. Just remove it from the game. All of like three people will actually miss it.
