Ok i can say i love the specialist system and archetype from a gameplay persoective the plus system and the overall loadout system ..BUT Specialist skins faces , corny emotes/corny lines are mostly ridiculous only Boris and Dozerand angel to some extend have somewhat respectable skins ...The new addition " Mckay Cowboy/crocodile dundee crap is ridiculous and shouldnt be a thing in the game for sanity sake Dice do not transform this game into warzone post launch .. with silly jigsaw and whatever silly crap skins

What we're seeing here was the plan from the start. Create hero shooter, use battlefield title to lure customers, sell macrotransaction. This is EA's end game.

Hopefully the specialists are all going to be removed and put into their own game mode soon. EA will do the right thing and go back to the old class roots. I’m sure the specialists will turn into a different game mode. If this change isn’t made I’d say definitely dead game by the summer.

I mean come on, deep down we all wanted a skin from Brokeback Mountain in a BF game really. You know its true 😉

That skin has nothing to do with Crocodile Dundee. If it had EA would be facing lawsuits from Paul Hogan. The skin looks more like a US western character, with the red lumberjack shirt and Winchester lever action rifle.But I totally agree it's way out of place in Battlefield.But that is what Battlefield has become...it just seems every decision DICE make is a bad one.I'm back to the earlier Battlefields.

The specialist isnt the problem and stop making it as if it was the case .. Specialist are amasing design in their own archetype and loadout system as well its much better and granular for teamplay and squad play ..

The problem is silly design decision and skins and they could have done this silly thing with the old classes system .. They could have sold sillly skins for any of the classes .. Look at planetside 2 it has classes system and yet they resisted to sell siilly crap for years but finally end up seeling silly clown mask with little flowers .and other silly stuff yet its a rigid classes system ...

I have a problem with cosmetics that are ridiculous and this cowboy Mckay thing is really borderline to sillyness

I don't care for it and it's perhaps the last design I would think of when trying to emphasize a near future theme. But it's not abhorrent either. It's at least a plausible design for what are in effect stateless mercenaries.
It's just when you have the freedom to craft whatever you want why is this what you would choose to go for?

Fortnite has NO CLASSES NO HERO yet Fornite sold more silly banana skins than Rainbowsix or Apex legends combined . .

Stop making things up and complain about the real issues wich is not specialist design or loadout but silly or out of place skins themselves ..

They could have sold silly skins with traditional classes or no classes no specialist ..

Skins silly one are a problem to me not anything else unrelated to it ..

@Stew360 The specialists are a problem and about 100 other things with this iteration of "Battlefield "(maps, weapons, vehicles, balancing, spawns, Hazard Zone, portal nerf). If you can't see what EA/DICE are doing, then I got nothing for you.

The weekly rewards are quite weak, better than nothing but basically are nothing. I didn't even get the 2nd week award (PP-28 skin) as one of the requirements didn't track lol, will we still be rewarded these that were missed due to bugs?
