I thought fire extingushers were for saving people and property?

Why are the fire extinguishers in BF2042 trying to murder the occupants of the buildings? Also they seem to detonate underbarrel grenades so if you are under its effect, the grenades you fire will e...

@UP_Hawxxeye Can't say anything about the grenades, but that's how a lot of companies extinguishers work, especially in technological and cooking areas. It releases inert gasses like nitrogen to put out the fire instead of water. Unfortunately, we cannot breath inert gasses, and some can be quite cold.

@KyosjiI see. Then, they need to at least make the grenades immune to the gas damage

    @UP_Hawxxeye I've never personally seen that happen in the gas. Kinda want to see if it's true. If they're treating the gas as a physical object for the sake of it dealing damage, that's an issue for sure.

      @Kyosji I think it is less about it being treated as a physical object and more about them taking damage and detonating from the gas.

        @UP_Hawxxeye Is it only under barrel weapons? Grenades don't get triggered from the gas.
