@yorokoba the thing about flashbang grenades is that you throw them from cover and only act after the bang while the targets have their senses compromised.
But if we let the flashbangs last that long then they would make the game unplayable for people.
The only way the current concussion nades can work well is with cooperation between 2 or more people where one throw the nade while the other charges in and because of the lack of friendly fire, the ally will not be affected.

Naturally
Since BFV I have learned that the only way to play BF properly is to play with at least 1 more person you know whom can talk to via voice chat. I used to lonewolf since BF3 but I saw my error.
Playing BF games solo is almost like driving a car with half-deflated tires. Costs more in energy and effort for worse results.

Personally I prefer the smoke grenade for general purposes (reviving people and helping push) or the spotting grenade (for XP)
