If i have a series x can i install xbox one version

I would like to know if I have a series X and I wanted to download the xbox one version so I can play with my friends is that possible

    Yes, this is possible. 🙌

    If you have the Xbox One version of the game installed on the Xbox Series Console you can play with others that are directly on their Xbox One Console.

@howdy-ccg Yes, that is possible as @Its_Travis_199 mentions.

I would recommend you consider one of the digital versions of the game however since they all now include the Cross-gen Bundle which gives you both a Xbox One and a XBox Series X/S version of the game to install as you see fit. This way, if your friends upgrade later you already have the next-gen version ready to go!
