No, not at all. Not even close.
Firestorm didn't do so well and you think they'd risk the franchise on that?!
The beta was a small slice of the final game. It definitely felt like a BF game though.

Did it aye? A bf game with no classes is not a bf game at all.
- 4 years ago@TAYTER-GUN Why? Who defines what is and is not a bf game? Why are classes set in stone? The classes that has changed definition in every new installment of the series. For me, the core of bf is freedom to play in lotsa different ways. Classes gave me choices. Now I have even more freedom to define my own class and play style. I honestly don’t see how this is bad.

@mesterKG The community defines what is and is not a bf game. The class system has been in place since Battlefield 1942. Your freedom to play however you want with this new system betrays sensibility, and trashes team play. Med kits and ammo boxes are now rare to non existent and I don't know who to request these things from if needed. I can't tell if a sniper has a rocket on them if I'm in a tank, etc. etc.
- 4 years ago@UnCazualGamer you are stating opinions and predictions as facts. You do not know how specialists and load-outs instead of classes will affect team play.
The community has never agreed on one definition of what bf is and it never will.
