If you've used air vehicles, you will have noticed that the Super Hokum gets to equip a 30mm Cannon whilst the Apache Warchief, it's US counterpart, can not equip a 30mm Cannon.
I'm just curious why exactly this is? I thought the GOAL was asymmetrical vehicle capabilities.
Don't even get me started on why the Jets differ so much from each other.
In BFV they leaned in on the asymmetry. I guess they wanted to make things interesting? I feel like for most players who are probably average pilots at best the dogfights with the jets are a lot more even than when two experienced jet pilots fight. I’ve definitely seen a fair amount of F35s shoot down SU57s when playing so maybe DICE feels no need to make an adjustment.
I'm with you on this the Apache needs a forward firing cannon for the driver all the other helo's have one or the option. Air Superiority real shows it at least for me.

I dont fly so i really dont have a dog in the fight but in a real apache the back seater doesnt tupically control the cannon (they can as a backup but the pilot typically just flies
