What a joke, i refuse to buy always on DRMd games that can be killed completely for good at any moment, just no.

I find this highly unlikely with BF. Most people move on to the newer versions. It's not uncommon for a small community to still play older games but I am genuinely curios to hear of a game you played or know of this happened to.@GRiPSViGiL, I think but I'm not sure, that, Tron Evolution had a DRM that now blocks the game to function on PC since Disney didn't renew the authentication servers according to the Wikipedia page.
- @Player55 So Tron had a 9 year run. Would you think you would want to play BF2042 that long? I played BF2 for 5 years religiously so I get it but I don't think we have seen this happen with a BF game. I used to think the DRM thing was a big deal but it hasn't been the inconvenience I expected when that whole thing started.
