Hello, I bought Battlefield 2042 and connected my Joystick. I have gone to control options in game and find no way to map my joystick controls for pilot. I am using a Thrustmaster T16000. The same Joystick i was able to fly with in Battlefield V and still do. Is there Zero Joystick Support for Battlefield 2042?
Has anyone had any luck getting their joystick to work?

Yea, i have the same question... and i'd like to get an answer at some point. No joystick support = refund for me... I have loved BF since 1942 and flying/vehicles are what make it what it is... for ground and pound, CoD is a far superior game... in ALL aspects... I was never a big fan of the CoD games, but they are much more polished.
I had to unplug joystick. Load game with no joystick connected. Then I was able to change mappings.
- @WarCraze216 You mentioned you got your joystick to connect by unplugging it? Just checking if it’s now sorted and working and were you able to do key bindings on the joystick??
I just got my refund, but if joystick is now supported I might just re-purchase the game

My xbox wireless adapter works fine with my xbox elite series 2 controller in BF2042. During the BF2042 beta, the game would not recognize my controller was connected until I disconnected my Razer Orbweaver Chroma usb keypad. Since I only use the keypad for World of Warcraft, and I no longer play that game, I never reconnected the keypad. Try disconnecting unnecessary usb devices to see if that solves your problem.
lots of issues with PS controllers not working,but not much on joystick.
Interested to see if we can get the joystick working on 2042. When I initiate controller mapping, the setting just ignores joystick inputs, even though that same stick works with other games.
I had to unplug my T.16kM hotas, boot up game with them unplugged, then I could assign mapping. Its like the game thinks the joystick is a gamepad the first time.
same issue . I can not map Logitech attack 3 to keybind , DEVS ! please fix
This needs fixed.
T1600 still not working, unlike battlefield 4 and 5.

Well guys I got an update and good news, but every time I try copy and post it on this thread it is deleted by an admin. Essentially I have been told they are going to fix it and there will be Joystick support.
Boy I hope you're right! I can't fly with a damn k&m.
- @Shankerz just curious but what source are you getting this information from? Also, any future date as to when this might happen?

Hopefully, I actually learned how to fly with M&K while waiting for HOTAS support. I do hope I can use my T16000 on BF.
