BF4 didn't have HOTAS support right away, either.
I'd give them some time to work out the major issues before they get around to this. Most people that 'need' to fly have been making due with controllers. I wouldn't mind being able to use my Saitek again, though.
Shouldn't need to rely on controllers though. I mean it's great they have that support, but a lot of PC players don't have controllers, or want them. Absolutely ridiculous to think that in this day and age, a game with aircraft doesn't come with native support, straight off the bat, for joysticks.
