No mention of this in Patch 3 notes. For reference, when Battlefield 1 launched, it also did not have joystick support. It was not until the Fall Update about a month later that they added joystick support.
Did joystick support make it into the patch?
Does the joystick now work after patch 3? If not, why not?

- @VerrNum1309 small remark, when I try to assign a Joystick button in the UI now I see an error message after Patch3, before Patch 3, the button click of the joystick was totally ignored
Got my refund early Nov, after I discovered no joystick support. Still nothing yet? Ready to buy again when they add joystick support.
Lol still can’t believe these geniuses released a game that has support for console controllers ON A PC! but didn’t bother to add support for the 1 device that’s used always been used on pc
We may have just gotten the help we needed from LevelCap with his new BF2042 review video just posted today. Finally a big youtuber mentions no joystick support and goes on to say it's very disappointing and hopes Dice will be able to remedy the situation quickly. Great video and worth the watch.

I'm very hopeful for the joystick support!!!! Lots of my friends aren't getting it till that happens. Isn't it strange to have 128 player maps with only 4 person squads? Wouldn't you think they would have bigger squad sizes like Battlefield 2? random thoughts...
