Just out of curiosity.

I think your connection to the EA servers (i.e., ping, latency, location etc. etc.) can skew your perception as to how well this game plays, which can adversely affect a lot of the other ways you perceive certain aspects of the game.

So just out of curiosity what is everyone's region, ping, average latency, and time nudge on average?

Mine is,

  • Region - Pacific Northwest U.S.A.
  • Ping - usually in the 30-40ms range (anything higher than that I usually disconnect and try for a different server)
  • Average Latency - usually in the 30-40ms range, (can start to vary wildly, I strongly suspect this is when out-of-area players try to connect, and the game will run terribly)
  • Time Nudge - can vary quite a bit, if it stays in single digits the game usually feels ok but if it goes above 20 the hit-reg is absolute crap.

My experience lately is maybe 1 out of every 4-5 matches will feel smooth and hit-reg feels like it's working as intended, I'm genuinely curious as to what other players are experiencing, so please post your info and experiences below.

    @UP_LordPlumber

    You had a consistent ping, latency and time nudge for four rounds?

    That's great man, I very rarely get one round like that, much less four in a row, that's probably one reason why your hit-reg feels ok to you, and why mine feels so inconsistent too me.

    The weird thing is the entire group of guys I play with are all located in the Pacific Northwest and as @ATFGunr pointed out we're all fairly close to the Seattle AWS center so you would think our connections would be more stable and consistent, but we all have similar experiences.

    None of us are located in the same town so maybe it's a regional issue?
