There is a entire PVE audience that doesnt want to bother with multiplayer. These people spent upwards of 100usd to have early access. Every hour you arent returning normal XP and Unlocking of attachments for guns and vehicles to Solo/Coop vs AI is a slap in the face for those people. We paid almost double to have early access and start grinding and now we cant.
So did they just make it where AI kills no longer count towards attachments? I noticed earlier when I was trying out Portal that I was getting XP from AI lobbies (which I was surprised by), so doesn't surprise me there was already farms. DICE really should have seen that one coming right out the gate.
Hopefully they find a balance for all this as the XP farming was so bad most where unable to even host a game. I was only able to host one yesterday, and I play solo practice with 30 on my team and 98 on the other. I'm not a good player but at least that its a challenge for me anyway. I still get xp and have unlocked vehicle's and some weapons. All that being said I would like it back but, they need to work out a way to stop xp farming or no one will be able to host a creation from Portal. Today I was able to host games so what they've done worked in one way but hurt in another.
@TheLastElite I don't see why XP from AI should be reduced or adjusted. We can't be punished for playing against AI by earning less XP and unlocks things at a lower rate. Poeple who play agaist AI doesn't care about MP, or are bad so there won't be any advantage that breaks something in the game. If Dice final solution comes with XP nerf "because you're playing solo or portal", it'll be the worst solution ever.

The XP Farm servers were a symptom of a wider issue. Primarily, why on earth are attachments, upgrades, and equipment locked behind kill counters?
That's the issue here that needs fixing. And they will fix it by selling us short cuts.
To everyone saying you shouldnt be able to unlock stuff in solo/coop vs ai I want to say dice loves you all, you are stupid enough to prefer shortcut bundles over a pve grind option.
@TheLastElite If they didn't see this coming, well... didn't they say you can progress no matter what you're doing in BF... so walking back on that aswell. Should be fun to see player # in a few months hehe.
