"It's simple. [NO-FORCED-INTERNET-CONNECTION]"
I'm puzzled and genuinely curious brother. I'm not bashing and if it sounds like it I'm truly sorry - it is not my intention at all nor do I try to do it.
So the very basic core of the game is multi-play. It is designed to be played with multiple players across a network, likely the internet (tho a lan play would a a blast :D ). How can you possibly complain about not adding a feature to a game that is basically about internet play?
Again - genuinely curious. Not laughing or anything else.

@rouvio, Like ToGoRo1995 I was also disappointed to hear that there were no bots offline. Although I think I'll still probably buy the game, multiplayer focused games to me should still have some sort of offline mode. This way, if battlefield 2042 servers shut down in the future, you'll still have a game to fall back on instead of losing everything. Multiplayer focused games can be super fun! (especially a fan of the Battlefront games), but sometimes my internet can lag or not work properly. Adding an offline mode so that players with bad internet can experience something close to the actual game would be awesome, as it allows people all over to experience the multiplayer feel of battlefield for the first time.
Also, I wanted to say that I respect how you're not trying to get anyone angry or upset

@rouvioThere is absolutely nothing wrong with multiplayer in Battlefield series. This is where Battlefield shine, I totally agree. But some fans, like me, have been asking for the simple offline mode for years. Like dedicated offline sandbox mode/practice range which has nothing to do with progression in multiplayer (like Instant Action mode in Star wars Battlefront 2). We are just tired of "online only" games where developers/publishers decide to shut down servers after few years and we cannot play with game anymore. I want this cool weapons, gadgets and vehicles to stay so I can fool around in some dedicated offline mode, even when multiplayer servers dont exist anymore.
If this game will have that mode, than I will instant buy ultimate edition, otherwise it's not worth it in my opinion, because I will be locked out of the content after few years.- Forkbeard845 years agoNot applicable
Wait we can't practice offline? Why not? That should be an obvious feature of the game.

Pretty sure they confirmed we'd be able to play offline

It's not happening, no matter how entitled you feel.
- AristarhUcolov25 years agoNot applicable@rouvio I've been playing Battlefield since 1999. The very first Codename Eagle after that in the Battlefield 1942, Vietnam, 2.2142 lineup. But after the release of Frostbite and console support, they removed the bots as the consoles were under heavy load.
You're wrong, Battlefield was a single and multiplayer game.
