- @Mephiticshepard Everyone doesn't play battlefield for the graphics. Everyone plays battlefill for the 00x atmosphere. If you played 1942 or Vietnam or 2
or in 2142 you will understand. Everyone dreams of playing offline with bots. The company became the killer of those times. I'm glad they removed it, I'm waiting for them to replace it with offline mode with bots. Just a beginner will be able to feel the game with bots after that go online. Or a veteran of the game. - @lzilchetl Due to the autonomous mode, they will receive a large profit. Since this game will be bought in large quantities for the sake of offline bots. I've talked to a lot of people, and they are ready to buy the game for the sake of offline bots.

- ChrisAWJBethel5 years agoSeasoned Ace@Trokey66 If they don't then we all know why games keep getting sequels every one to three years instead of making a quality game that will last forever.
- Trokey665 years agoSeasoned Ace@AristarhUcolov2 With or without offline bots, you don't own the game. You have only bought a license to use the software that can be changed/revoked at anytime.

I don't have an issue with that, but in my opinion it's unlikely. I just reckon that more and more of the processing is undertaken server-side these days and re-writing code for that all to happen on the client is essentially coding a new game where many of the potential players will not have a machine capable of processing that data. Lets face it, if you have a top end machine you've got an internet connection anyway haven't you. I reckon they already have their profit forecasts sorted - 15 million players (BFV ownership?) x average price of the game £60 (after promotions etc over time) thats best part of £1 billion before you factor in microsales/ DLCs etc. I think they can probably manage without your mate's money? Could be wrong, and I hope so for your sake, but I have a few doubts.
(PS, EA/Dice don't want the game to last forever - you need to buy the next one in two years time)
- Trokey665 years agoSeasoned Ace@AristarhUcolov2 I am completely ambivilant to on offline bot mode, I care not a jot if it is in game or not as that is not why I play Battlefield.
My 'issue' is the self entitled demand that it must be there and if it isn't, the 'I won't buy it' rubbish expecting DICE to immediately capitulate, apologise and add it.
The real irony is that there are threads saying that if there are bots in any circumstances, people 'won't buy it'!
As I have said (and been called arrogant for saying it) if you don't like it, don't buy it. - lzilchetl5 years agoSeasoned Ace
I think these would sell well.... You can drive them when you haven't got petrol.
- OkamiToge5 years agoSeasoned Ace@Trokey66 They seem like a talker, someone who doesn't know when to stop talking (or spamming). Along with awful comparisons that make no sense.
And it's like you say they can buy it or not buy it, seeing as for now there is no option to turn bots off and 2042 will probably be online only as well we'll find out during EA Play. - ChrisAWJBethel5 years agoSeasoned Ace@Trokey66 Asking for offline bots is 'self-entitled' and 'rubbish'? What ails you, dude?
