Lets us have maps where there are no vehicles
Using server browser or whatever.
Its so boring to play against a team that has 4 helicopters and 4 tanks.
some of just want to have infantry fights
or at least less have vehicles

You can definitely make servers without vehicles in Portal as it stands right now.
- @ReinAtreides_SG TDM needs to be a standard choice option.
- @ReinAtreides_SG BF4 had conquest small (for less vehicles) and conquest large (for standard BF exp), BF1 had operations, and BF5 had tactical and strategic conquest... 2042 has none of these things. :/
There are a lot less vehicles in Rush 2042, might be worth a try?
Also hope they bring back Domination as that was a good go to game mode for me in BF4 when I just wanted some infantry fun, but a bit more structured than TDM.
along time ago when battlefield was great we had options to rent servers and play how we wanted. we could resize servers do infantry only do what ever you want.
but over the years with every new game we lose more and more options, and now you see the result.
Embrace the vehicles. Learn to use them. Learn to counter them as infantry and from a vehicle. Learn to avoid them.
Metro and locker would be great. This game is a broken POS so I doubt these maps will ever be put in rotation.
Did I mention EA ripped off the bf community? I wonder if adding "Surprise Mechanics" will save bf 2042

- @trip1ex This is true, but still annoying. There are a bit to many vehicles on every map it seems, a reduction in numbers per category + maybe increase to spawn time could help.
+ Avoiding them would be way easier if there wqs better audio for incoming vics, the choppers are basically stealth and have no sound of proximity until they are on top of you. We need metro in portal so bad!
