do you see the discrepancy`?

@MADMAC50K
I have honestly not seen any jets in 2042 which do not go first for other jets when they see them. To ignore the enemy jet is to invite a bogey on your tail at a bad time.Perhaps the 6.2 changes will make jets more likely to dogfight than before.
- 2 years ago@UP_Hawxxeye Aren't they buffing the range of jet rockets in 6.2 to 800m? Doesn't sound like an incentive to dog fight to me...
- X-Sunslayer-X2 years agoSeasoned Ace@MADMAC50K where are these magical pilots who go unopposed the entire round to farm? if your team is struggling against choppers than one might question if your Wildcat is being parked in spawn by a nincompoop but even than there are all the already mentioned ways to deal with said choppers you can choose any and make their existence much worse. and guess what there are 31 or 63 more players in the lobby who could help you do that... yesterday I played a bit of MBT on various maps all it took was one Soflam and one Nightbrid to relegate me to sit in my spawn since I was unable to move up whatsoever 2 players... the soflam alone was next to impossible to deal with since now every rocket is a lock on from other vehicles and the shoulder-fired ones I can't defend against this outside using the APS or thermal smoke but once its on cooldown I have to be in hard cover again or die....

@X-Sunslayer-Xsince the Wildcat nerf, it's easier pray for an attack chopper, but again, not interested in relying on vehicles or teammates, who seem mostly just concerned with weekly missions, K/D, or having their own battles (PTFO - remember that?). Hard to PTFO when you have to switch specialists and loadouts just to help deal with a chopper that will respawn in a few mins time. So why bother?
I ain't alone in feeling air vehicles are waaay OP. There are countless threads and reddit posts that DICE seem to conveniently ignore whilst continuing to buff pilots and nerf infantry. This is the most unbalanced version of Battlefield, and I've played them all since 2004.- UP_Hawxxeye2 years agoLegend

I switch specialist all the time if the situation calls for it. I am more than likely to spend the entire round as an engineer if needed.
Players who are not reacting to the change in the battles to adapt to the threat are plainly playing the game wrong.
Since I started in BF3 I have often been the one who will go out of his way to tear that bird from the sky by any means necessary (be it infantry, tank or aircraft) while many others are doing little more than writing angry complaints toward the pilot.
- MackTKau2 years agoRising Ace@MADMAC50K good jet pilots have never targetted other jets pilots unless they get attacked.
why bother attacking a jet on the other side when you can both spend the entire round farming infantry with guns or rockets or bombs (depending on the game you're playing).
