LOVE letter to the Developers... For the love of all that good.. simply copy BF4 with today’s graphics and we will LOVE you long-time (and give you all our money 😂). No wing suits, no tornadoes, no cheesy specialist. Just sound realistic gameplay is the magic soup.. We would LOVE detailed maps that have Character, places to take cover, awesome sunsets, balanced flag placement, and great spawn points (nothing more) We definitely LOVE mucho guns with realistic camos and accessories that actually work. We would probably “grab our ankles” with LOVE for a REALISTIC military-style simulation (we hate apex, cod looking purple wing suits, specialist, etc..) We have been asking for this same thing for over a decade (why oh why do you all make it so hard on yourselves). Y’all keep trying to reinvent the wheel.. So dang simple but this franchise just doesn’t seem to “get it” anymore.. i actually do LOVE BF but 2042 has honestly broke our heart 💔 [Edit: All caps removed from title - ElliotLH]

Easy solution:Take the BFV core (physics, movement, destruction, graphics, gunplay, fortifications, player models), the BF1 art design (Sound, visuals, authenticity) and use the BF3/4 setting (weapons, vehicles, classes, gadgets, locations). They can even monetize the crap out of it with hundreds of believable and semi-realistic skins (system of BFV) and bring in some "specialist skins" (also like in BFV). Yet they just tried to copy Warzone. So sad, what huge potential they are wasting.

@SirBobdk There is a huge market for a legit (realistic) military FPS.. I know some developer out there will tap into this huge potential market. When they do and it’s successful.. BF will wish they had simply listen to their original player base.

@NoodlesocksYes.. today’s graphics by the markets standards. I agree that 2042 still looks like a BETA and the graphics were lazily developed compared to BFV and even BF1

@SirBobdk There is a huge market for a legit (realistic) military FPS.. I know some developer out there will tap into this huge potential market. When they do and it’s successful.. BF will wish they had simply listen to their original player base.

There's a lot of 'realistic' military FPS available and that's kind of the problem. There's almost no FPS that offers the scale and casual gameplay that Battlefield offers, past or present.

Ok Thanks. So it is primarily about specialists. Wish they had not taken that direction.

@SirBobdk Yeah I agree with you there. They'd of been better off doing what they did with BFV and allow you to buy "Skins" for your character based on your faction. No "Named Specialists" or "Corny Sayings"

True. BFV did it quit right with fractions and customization.
Should it have been changed I had rather seen more classes or joint access to several weapons / gadgets, even all weapons/gadgets. Anything but wierd hero / specialists. It doesn't feel right in a BF game.
