There, again just giving up cause using only lockons. We need these flares cause there are a lot of yous on field that are using lockons.

Probably because of the same exact point he made in the first part of his thread.

Need those locked ons for the Littlebirds

Stop victim blaming ILoveFishing. Enough of these threads have spawn and you're clearly painting yourself as one of those aircraft pilots who love ruining the game for everyone else.
Hint: When there's no more infantry left you have no one to kill. Well, many of us (me included) have already voted with our feet anyway. If they don't change things, we won't come back.
It's bad when even SquidG has called it peace from this game.

I would had loved more context on what all the people and their team who have issues with the aircraft are doing ingame to take them down.
If a pilot is bothering me, I will use every available means, gadgets, tanks, aircraft and I will also poke my team until they realize they got to wake up to the threat.
I am concerned that many of the aircraft complaint OPs are having a rather biased view of the issue (the same goes for any 24/7 pilots bth)
Often the ground only players do not notice that there are 16 to 64 of them on the same side and have a ~12 respawn time while there are 1-3 aircraft per side with a few minutes respawn time. The numbers are on their side if they take this seriously.
Meanwhile there are aircraft-only players who have spent a lot of time on mastering their aircraft of choice and are offended each time someone wants to take them down with anything that is not exactly like the aircraft and loadout they are using themselves...
More often than not I find that both sides need to "walk a few miles in the boots of the other", especially the infantry only players. They need to see how often a pilot has to retreat if the other team is not oblivious.

Average pilots are going 40+ kills to zero deaths (good players are doing 80 plus kills a game)
The Little Bird is very fast and can turn at a ridiculous speed.
Players don't try and take it down as it is generally a waste of their time. Many just quit and find another server (seen this happening far more often)
We had more effective tools for the job in BFV.
To be clear, good pilots still put up good scores in BFV but at least players had something.
Obviously this would involve DICE trying to balance the game and it is clear they are not interested. - TTZ_Dipsy2 years agoLegend
Aircraft are only "overpowered" because nobody wants to work together in 2042.
In previous titles it was easy to one man army anyone and everything, but, for better or worse, they've taken great strides to make vehicle busting especially a 2+ man operation.

I personally think that combined warfare has become BFs biggest problem.
Dice has always struggled with balancing things and I think especially new players gets put off by combined warfare. It takes some time to learn how to "handle" vehicles and most people don't want to do this anymore. This leaves only the BF-vets and unfortunately that crowd is getting older and smaller each day.
I'm an 'infantry only' player myself and has always been. For me getting instakilled 'out of nowhere', by especially flying vehicles, have gotten old by now (from all the games combined) and with the general lack of PTFO and teamplay, I almost never play BF anymore.
2042 really put the nail in the coffin for me, somehow vehicles seems to be everywhere now, compared to older titles. In older titles the vehicles were there, but you could avoid them much of the time, by moving around the map 'smartly'. The 2042 maps constantly puts you in situations where you cannot do anything but die.
I like BF for the combined warfare (which makes it BF), but how to make it work, I don't know and Dice apparently doesn't either.

Excuse me but I'm trying to defend my stand of yous. Sorry, but it is skill issue again. People expect getting kills with lockons only. I SEE every day people shooting stingers in open from flat ground. They don't know how to time it or take at least cover? There are a lot vehicles that deal aaaa lot damage to aircrafts. For instance simple yet effective, LATV. What about Liss? "I can't hit with that", "bird is too agile" <-- which btw got yaw nerf. BUT there are MANY more players that actually can do wonders with Liss. MASTERED at it and can simply pull down everyone with ease. What i mean, if you can't, fault is not mine or aircrafts, cause there are players that are better than me and you.
But again, when we play as aircraft squad, we do dominate cause we go against a lot lonewolfers. Our squad consists of players, that have hundreds of hours dedicated on preferred vehicles and our coordination is on point cause of knowing dangers and giving calls about danger and on targets via VOIP.

Not true.
Heils are OP.
Infantry don't have the tools to do much about them.
Doesn't matter how many of you try the tools for the jobs just aren't there.
