This is likely a typical case of someone having put enough explosives on your MAV to take it out from full health and the scatter grenade being the spark that triggered the explosion which also gave the credit to the grenade user
This is an example of how the weapon that causes the detonation gets the credit in the killfeed. It is from BF3 but it is still relevant
@UP_HawxxeyeNo that's not what happened. The mav was surrounded by my team. I was only there about 10 sec before it blew up. The other team had been pushed off the cap they were running back from the other side of the point. The side I parked on was full of our infantry. You can see me move the turret to the left and that's where the explosion happened. There was no c5 on the ground nor dropped on top of the mav from a parachute deployed player. The other team gets no aircraft in break through. So unless the C5 was tossed from 50 meters away that couldn't of been it.
- UP_Hawxxeye3 years agoLegend@xXHappy_PuppyXx it is an interesting mystery.
The simplest answer would be that the C5 either was already on your MAV or that it was on the ground and you ended up rolling over them before the grenade was tossed.
But this is Battlefield where magic is possible, so who knows.
If this ends up happening more often you would be able to build a more solid case that something is really wrong.- xXHappy_PuppyXx3 years agoRising Ace@UP_Hawxxeye Well given I just spawned the mav and drove it right there then they would of had to have summon in the respawn where they would be out of bounds.
As far as evidence.. would post after post of people saying they unload a mag at some one only to be instantly one shot be enough.
Unfortunately I can only take 30sec vids so couldnt get the lead up.
I have had a lot of odd things since last patch. Like a top mounted lmg on a tank one shot me from 100 or so meters out. The thing is I saw the 1 tracer hit and in the kill feed it wasnt a head shot and i was full health.
This time it was just so blatant.
