I noticed in the latest Specialists reveal trailer that the characters all looked to have stiff, clunky animations. Could someone at EA DICE please upload something that's been recorded at 144hz to show movement animations?

@ragnarok013 After the Beta, I had to cleanse my soul by installing BF4 again. Trust me.Beta gave me a shock. The movements looked way worse than even BF4, which wasn't the best.BFV was the peak.

Open the reveal trailer on the best performing PC/monitor combo you can buy for money in this world. And it will still show stiff and clunky. The level of quality coming out is just not good enough.And here is the question: If the latest build is great and many of these early limitations are fixed as they claim them to be, then EA show it to us!Because what we got so far is not up to current day standards.Regarding the rubberbanding/glitching/teleportations during Beta gameplay, then that is a different matter and I wrote several postings on this and also posted a representative video of this from Beta gameplay when on Console. Here we observed that good performing PC platforms had none/only little of this, while the last gen consoles for the most part suffered heavily from this throughout all the beta days. Which may answer reason for the very different and more positive feedback PC players reported on versus the feedback from many Console gamers.

Animations definitely felt bad in the beta. Not as bad as BF5s animation diarrhea but the transition between one movement to another did not feel smooth at all.

Games with smooth fluid movement to me are BF3, BF4, BF1, even BF5 and non-BF games such as Doom, Rage 2, Quake Champions, and Halo Infinite. It was apparent to me that DICE was copying Apex's movement in 2042 as the animations to me even looked stiff as I played the 2042 Tech Test and Beta. When I played BF3/4/5 after the Beta the difference felt even more drastic.

Movement Animations Look Stiff, Clunky.

@Popa2caps Have you actually played the game yet? In the beta movement felt better than any previous BF games.

BF3 and BF4 both feel pretty good, but BF5 currently is my favorite for movement and 2042 felt even better. It was one of the least clunky games I’ve played.

Did you read my post? I stated that character animations looked stiff, clunky in the latest Specialists reveal trailer.

I'm asking if DICE would upload a clip of character animations at a higher frame rate so I can better judge it. That's because the latest video seems to be 30 FPS and it could just look stiff, clunky because of the low frame rate.

@Popa2caps while I agree about the movement, in this particular video the game breaking aspects of the EMG-X, the targeting grenade, and the bullet reflecting riot shield were my main concerns. ;-)

I think most people find Apex to be one of the most polished movement games out there.

@carsono311 I saw some weird rubberbanding issues, but it wasn't constant or anything. Some people just seemed to be able to move incredibly fast.

I maxed the field of view during the open beta on PC. Maybe that's what caused the camera to act funky.
