My account for 2042 has been banned by mistake

You'll need to appeal to EA's Terms of Service team. Only they have the ability to overturn bans.

While I don't know exactly what prompted the ban, I would suggest that it's not a good idea to use public PCs to play games. You don't know what's installed on them.
