I see this message pop up when an update failed to install correctly. Try a file repair.
In Origin, launch Origin go to game library right click BF2042 and select repair game.
If this is a Steam game, launch Steam go to game library and right click BF2042 and select verify game files.
This should fix it.
If for whatever reason it does not fix your issue your only recall is to contact EA directly, no one here can help you.
Well, I will try to solve this problem with Ea then. I tough I could got some EA team menber attention on this from here
