New locked classes ruined the game

I agree with the team work
but they have implemented it poorly
i mean - the squads are so small - in the old days bf2 had 6 man squads
and i could pick any weapon i wanted - now i cannot play full auto with medic kit =(
i understand why they did it - but to me it just detracts from the game
same as the "aim assisted" feature - that sucks too
@HeroCllassteam work??? u watch too much game video on youtube etc. the game isn't running like that. ppl don't care u unless it is ur friend or private squad. ppl play the game for theirown interest and fun, not for anyone, even the their team. that why BF is a sucessful FPS game, as ppl can do anything they want before class system return. it is a bad return.
@GVlXxfi like freedom of loadouts and hate the class system return but let's be honest. this game wasn't a success.
my issue was destroying playstyles over a year after launch. if you're going to not have classes at launch don't half measure it 14+ months in. save it for the next game- @Psubond when they added class system, it means, DICE wouldn't make any revolution on the BF anymore. at least deeply in their mind for the next time

Heck even some of my “friends” on voice chat won’t change what they do to help the team. Teamwork has always been in short supply in Battlefield (I have played since 2042).
I liked the freedom of being able to adjust my style to what the situation required via Angel, this limited class system is simply frustrating and not fun. For instance, if a helicopter was dominating, I could switch to AA and at least harass it (solo you could only kill a helicopter if the pilot got careless) - now that is not possible as ammo is scarce since the patch.

Huh, you just contradicted yourself. Before Specialists players could NOT do anything they wanted.
2042 was not successful which is why they returned to the new hybrid class system.

Judging by the Steam no., there were 3 times as many players playing the game with the introduction of a new map & new weapons in Season 3 rather than the last update with the "new class system".
That makes me believe the BF 2042 loyal fan base preffers new content (maps, weapons, QoL improvements) over bringing back outdated legacy features like class system.

Content is what brings people but the "legacy features" are there to help them stay once they come.
Currently many people are probably done getting their battlepass to 100 and are taking a break until season 4
I would give it until season 4 comes for the effects of 3.2 to show
BF2042 is still on a journey to get where it should had launched at in terms of features and gamlpay

they went to half measure classes because of the wailing and gnashing of teeth of people who don't play the game and who won't come back. all this half measure does is drive away people who did like the game.
i'm not saying that they are trying to kill the game, but looking at every decision dice made post launch with this game, if they were trying to kill it what would they do differently?
