People screamed "infantry only" "vehicles too strong" "less vehicles" and were heard... but that's not what battlefield for me is/was.
That is because vehicles farm infantry. The issue becomes when people abuse the power, and that is just the nature of games. Air power is supposed to target vehicles. That is the balance, but that just does not happen consistently enough. Throw on unlimited ammo, next to nothing cooldown on smokes, and you have huge imbalance. In today's game, vehicles camp with little worry of destruction. They target infantry, not other vehicles, to pad their stats. People are more concerned with number of kills then winning the game. How many times is a tank just sitting on a flag, capping and destroying all around it. How often do you see armor in the starting area unloading on the closest flag. How often is the Condor just hovering unloading its endless ammo on a location, only to fly off behind the hill and let Borg Regeneration repair it to come back again. People are complaining because people arent using the vehicles for what theyre designed for. If pilots would target other vehicles, consistently, I don't think you would see people whining.
From the beginning I felt on this HUGE maps with 128 players there were already not enough vehicles and now with even less it's pretty empty when it comes to vehicle fights...
I think the big maps are fine. Most people want less vehicles. Im okay with what is there, but not enough? Youre sniffing airplane glue. You should create a vehicle portal
I'm also not able to get an attack helicopter the most time, it's just the same guy over and over locking this thing in many matches, most times it's already taken literally not 1second after the start and you will NEVER (maybe at the end) will see it beeing free

1 air attack vehicle is a horrible limit. 2 ground armor is a horrible limit,
In bf4 you get 1 of each vehicle, sometimes more. 2 tanks and 2 jets, 1 little bird, 1 attack heli etc. but sometimes on maps like railway you get 5 tanks, 2 jets, 1 support heli, 1 little bird, etc. Basically in any battlefield game, you had more available vehicles than this game. and those were 64 player games. Now with a 128 player match where you can play any class and still use a rocket. We have 2 tanks, 1 helicopter and 2 support transports... this is dumb as hell.

Well now it's going to be more frequent. Why would I bother farm a tank if they can't even hit me when I'm flying over them? I'm literally farming infantry more now because there is less tanks and less chance of wildcat than before.

It was the exact same thing in bf3 and bf4 when the game came out. of course people will farm infantry, people still do in bf3 and 4.

The big maps are horrible in map design. that is why they are being reworked you fool. Ever since kaleidoscope Got a rework, it's proven how much adding more objects in a map can change the way vehicles play now. manifest did a good job with that where infantry has more cover so it's easier for them to cover from any type of vehicle. Most of the people wanted less because the map design was poor and gave more open space for vehicles to prey upon the infantry. Stop giving your garbage opinions in game balance, You have no idea what you're talking about.

The vehicle spawns within 10-1 second of the players timer. sometimes less. it's incredibly inconsistent. It's also the fact that one player gets a chance to play with it no matter what. Meaning that even if he tries to get it, there are probably 3 others spamming their buttons or keyboards to get the vehicle the moment it spawns. it's created a horrible playstyle of waiting for it to spawn unlike before where people only took it if it was available when they died. at least back then 3 people or 4 had a chance to use it but now 1 has created a massive line of players waiting for the timer to end. it's worse when one player is still on the vehicle through the entire game, thus ruining the experience for many people that want to fly. tanks have it easy since you can get at least 2 but a chance of FOUR vehicles only given to one player? asinine as *!
