No Redacted playlist = no more BF 2042 for me

All day I’ve been looking forward to playing some rounds on Redacted Conquest, only to find out DICE has now removed the playlist.

I swear, sometimes it seems like DICE is deliberately trying to sabotage their own game.

The older maps I can’t bring myself to play yet again; I’ve played them so many times.

Oh well, more time to do other things then.

  • Yeah, it's a bummer. Might I suggest taking your shoes off and walking in the grass barefoot?

  • I 100% agree with you.

Redacted is what i want to play now.

Removing it from the list was a bad idea.

Now the first map the game wanted me to play was Hourglas.

The worst map in BF history.

I refuse to play that map but i have some more i don`t enjoy.

Not having a server browser is hurting now the most.

I want to choose what i want to play.

I don`t want the game to choose for me.

  • Redacted gets put into the 64 conquest rotation I assume

    All this does:

    - (Neglected) infantry fans try to find Redacted in the massive pile and prolly give up

    - Vehicle map fans will hate it when they draw Redacted and prolly just leave

I am sure they will bring it back, that ridiculous decision has killed a 1/3 of the playerbase in one day.

  • The other bonus of 24./7 Redacted the people who won't help destroy vehicles had some where to go instead of skewing normal conquest by just pew pewing heads. They obviously don't want us to have what little fun there is with this game.

Almost like they are managing their succes of a season, boost player count shortly, have youtubers make a few “2042 is great now” videos, have people buy BP progression and new skins

Cancel what makes the season successful have people leave and save on server costs

  • @VOLBANKER_PC I started playing regular conquest 64 and I like it a lot surprisingly. Give it a try, now with the rework of the original big maps its much more enjoyable!

@CrispyPenguin420I find it impossible to enjoy

    - Never been easier to kill as infantry
    - Never been easier to spot enemies
    - Never been easier to kill with ground vehicles
    - Never been easier to kill with air vehicles
    - Cover is still non existent

The issue is that when everything can be killed easily you also die really easily. You have no control and it's balance comes from there being no balance, fun as hell for the first few chaotic games back when it released but after you just feel like a pion for marketing video's

In the end the gamemode isn't the issue it's 2042 itself, meatgrinders and smaller infantry maps are just a very easy way to have a "balanced" and consistent experience. That's why it's been so very popular for a long time, basically started with Strike at Karkand in BF2.

    @doubleomeStrike at Karkand. Now that's a map!

I feel everyone's frustration with these game mode rotations and map rotation limits. We're herded like sheep each week into game modes we don't want to play and maps we don't want to play on. It needs to stop

They've removed regular Rush for the second week in a row now and replaced it with another redux game mode I hate. I just do not want to play the game and in turn can't finish the battlepass. Unless this all changes, I'm not spending another penny on this game.

The playlist for the past two weeks was perfect for everyone
