Given the size of maps, the range is NOT excessive.
'Easy' is a subjective term that suggests that anyone can get multiple kills with relative impunity even at extended range against moving targets, that is simply not true.
Whilst anyone can indeed equip it, most don't.
Every now and then you may be unlucky and end up in a server where by luck or design, more people than usual are using it and/or you get someone who is a beast with it. I would suggest that these occasions are the exception, not the rule or you are just very unlucky.
I detest snipers with a passion but the NTW, especially with regards to vehicles, is not OP in my opinion.
Indeed, most anti vehicle weapons seem relatively weak in BF2042 compared to previous games when looked at individually but it is there proliferation that can make them seem strong to the vehicle user but what do you expect with 128 players.

@Trokey66 Sorry it's hard to make myself understood.
I'm not saying one NTW player can easily destroy vehicles or it's so strong that everyone will use it. Also, I don't think sniping a tank is fun. Using TGM against tanks is also a boring job. It's a problem of game design.
