Option to Disable TAA

Hi,

The only thing that is still hurting my eyes is TAA in Battlefield V.

I had to find a long AF guide to disable TAA to be able to see clearly.

Instantly when watching livestream I could spot TAA in works smearing details 0:17 in trailer, is it TAA or some new solution,

either way option to fully Disable any Antialiasing or choose FXAA, or MSAA would be a lot more welcome, I know TAA can hide low poly designing features,

but do not push us and lock us to use TAA as only choice.

Thanks,

proxid

  • This is a must. If not an option to disable then at least an option to use better Anti Aliasing solutions. This isn't a big ask, this is an industry standard.

@Proxid_lol I agree, TAA was making the game really blurry. Although if you disabled it with the method, it would flicker instead, which was also kinda annoying.

So here's hopes that it'll be disableable.
  • Yes, I hope it comes in settings, with that method it also disabled some of the lighting for me so game looked even more worse.

  • If you have a rtx card, you might be able to use dlss, if the game supports it. I think if dlss is supported, you will be able to turn it off :D

  • Pretty sure this game has been designed from the beginning with full support for various AA solutions / samplings.  This would include technologies like DLSS and ray tracing.  Part of the technical test is to test these features as well.  Not sure if AMD-supported FSR will be ready to go by October, but I have to think it will be another option too…
