@Adamonic Then maybe we should question why EA decided to select him for this job in the first place. Is it maybe be cause he has experience with squad centric, hero based battle royal games?

@kregora If EA/Dice doesn't abandon the 'hero shooter' idea for BF, then the franchise will die for certain.

We can only hope that 2042 gave them a big 'wake-up call', but again they have made every possible wrong decision to get into this mess, and hoping they will start making any right decisions in the future are perhaps naive.

@SeriousJuJu the only thing that keeps me playing is that I still believe in Vince. He proved to know how to make a good game.

@LlamaWithKatana i said this in another thread, there is a chance that when the new leadership took over and said holy s4&t they immediately pushed S1 back to fix this behind the scenes in order to do a soft reboot.

The reason they may be quiet is it is possible that they can't pull it off due to the gaming engine and lack of experienced devs.

At this point, there is not much else to do. S1 will be the true telling point. If they nail it, they will get players coming back in droves. If not, the last 10K players will die off slowly until they get a little bump per seasonal drop.
