Battlefield just completed its transformation to COD. Almost every gun is a laser now, no need to learn to control your weapons. the only change this game needed aside from performance and content was to nerf vehicles. a simple way to do that is to go back to battlefield 5 and put in repair stations. Stop letting tanks and helicopters self repair and limit their ammo!!! Talk about god mode, do good damage and they just fly behind a building or drive over a hill and come back 30 secs later magically full of health as if you never took a hit. Instead you nerf angel for no good reason. Are you trying to get rid of the medics in the game? I've played 470 hours in 2042 and have been playing battlefield since battlefield 2 modern combat in '05 and now i might have to let it go. It makes me sad to accept that you clearly have no direction for this game and that says everything i need to know about the franchise. Please please please undo your recoil patch that you did, give Angel's pouches armor again, and for the love of god nerf the vehicles! If you can't add repair stations then at least limit the number of times they can self repair (bring back the need of an engineer) and how many flares a helicopter can carry. #makebattlefieldgreatagain

@organ_donor81 I agree. After this patch the whole game to me is different and I do not like it. Last update the game felt so much better and this update it went back to being crap. I can’t even play it anymore. Unless I hear they changed things back to how it was with the guns I’ll not even play. Sorry but it’s crap now.

I just did the Hot Patch for the micro stutter because of the 4.1 patch and played only for an hour before I had to give it a rest.I agree something really feels different about the game now. I’ll give it another try later tonight and see if it feels any better.

@Ironhead841I put just about 700 hours and it’s gotten worst. Maybe if step back from the game and come back it will feel better.

The game is no better...Stuttering still occurs in the game at anytime and is noticeable.When running, the streaming also isn't smooth.. its almost like micro- rubber banding is happening.. The game has been like this since it came out... BF4 runs like a dream.CPU 5800x GPU AMD 5700XT 32GB ram.

@organ_donor81 I agree. After this patch the whole game to me is different and I do not like it. Last update the game felt so much better and this update it went back to being crap. I can’t even play it anymore. Unless I hear they changed things back to how it was with the guns I’ll not even play. Sorry but it’s crap now.

@organ_donor81 I agree that vehicles should not self-repair, I've been saying that for a long time. Now, the balance of Angel included in the last patch, it was also necessary there was an EXCESSIVE use of armor in the game, for me armor should be eliminated.

If you analyze the operators, and I say this being main Angel, is the only one overloaded with skills, it can't be that while everyone has 1, Angel had 4 (Revive, armor, ammo, class box) he was the most useful and still is. If we talk about Boris, the nerf was also necessary, the turret can't be that annoying because it's a gadget that doesn't require skill. Battefield has always been a player vs player game and not against AI.

I tried the game again after some time not playing 2042 and just got reassured about how bad a game 2042 is..
I've spent thousand of hours in BF4/BF1/even BFV and I think all BF-titles have issues/bad design decisions, but 2042 is on another level of bad.
All the fixes they made to 2042 has done nothing to improve the game, it is still a bad game and it is not fun to play in any way.
The game is still full of issues (TTD/netcode-issues, weird input-lag/keys not registering, silent vehicles/enemies etc etc) and the maps and the specialist-system are just so bad its a joke.
I don't think Dice can (/will) save this game, they do not really want to make proper changes (removal of specialists, redesign the maps etc).
New content (S1) will not make a difference, a few new maps, that you will seldom play, will not make the game fun to play either (even if the maps are good).

@organ_donor81 patch 4.1 is the best the game has ever been and I think now it is pretty close to a good base mechanics for season 1 and updating the current maps to be not so dull.

Garbage game, period. Weapons are bad, hit registration is bad, no balance, no consistency from server to server. Complete joke and total embarrassment. Today was in a Wildcat and got taken out by a humvee but not before putting 2 anti tank missiles into the hummer and railing it with the 30 cals. Complete joke.
