I have tinnitus and while there are games I don't mind for example Battlefield 1 has a Tinnitus effect, in that game the sound effect is very mild and short and doesn't bother my tinnitus.But for Battlefield 5 they made the sound last around 10 or so seconds, super long, very annoying and it would hurt my ears or remind me about it to the point I had to uninstall the game.I own all Battlefield and BF5 is the only game I got single digit hours invested because of that annoying problem, the reason is because in the game there is an explosion every minute so you would hear the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE non stop, and I worry that in Battlefield 2042 is gonna be the same, please give an accessibility setting to disable that sound effect or at least to reduce it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLm8R6L-2ggHere is an example of the sound, now imagine that in BF5 or 2042 but way louder, long lasting and extremely often.

Like I said, having an option in accessibility settings would be nice and just could make it so the game goes muffled for the period of the tinnitus sound effect. I just think they kinda over did it this time since is not only louder but long lasting.And while I agree with the use of software to countermeasure the issue, is still a bit of work to put, specially for non techsavy users, kinda like colorblind that they might have to change their settings for themselves.

Thats exactly what I'm talking about he is asking for advantage for himself, not everyone. It will be more fair if they will turn it off for everyone by default because this is literally an advantage

Sorry, but how is that equal?? I mean he will literally have an advantage because explosion sound will not "cover" any other sounds. What next? please turn on thermal vision for me because I'm colorblind? Instead he can just lower the overall sound to bare minimum and that will resolve his problem.

@ZORDCOMRAD Adjustable means it is available for everyone. Colorblind mode is available for everyone too and adjustable.
