Possible fix for 128 player zergs
Split the map up into sections with overlap areas between sections, assign each section a group of players, air vehicles don't get any restriction...parachuting from planes will let you in any section for that span of life.
Now you have 128 players playing like 64/32(depending on how many sections the players are divided between) while allowing snipers and air the full range of the map for targets. Would also not be out of context of a war since even in a war units are designated operational areas.
Also doesn't have to be a hard border where your insta-killed for crossing over can just be a no respawn/revive zone where attrition will do the job.
I also realise it won't work for all maps due to map design but maybe it will work with a few current ones and then keeping it in mind for future maps
