Preload Size only 47 GB?
Now preloading! WOOT! But I thought the game was 100 GB? My preload size only says its going to load 47GB.

Perhaps this is just the compressed installation file that will expand to take more space
- @UP_Hawxxeye its possible for sure especially with future updates. I still remember COD modern warfare 2019. Downloading that game was literally ok see you tomorrow.
@locked_n_cockedAh, the explanation is that they cut out the Portal part and they will release that as a separate title due to community demands.

The 100gb requirement is likely because there has to be enough room left to unpack/install it after downloading.
If the installer is 47gb, the install would require close to 100gb toal during install/before the installer is deleted after installation- @TrasteTh I just booted my xbox series x and have a 12.21 GB update.
- @BizzyVaping I thought that might be the case but I went down in my HD space the exact amount that it downloaded. Maybe when the game is able to launch it will unpack itself and take up the rest of the space. Ahh well, it is what it is.
And that YT video got me!!! reminds me of the south park where they went to troll trace and everyones briefcase opened up and that video was playing!
