Any updates?

Nope. I'm guessing by their lack of answering of responses from ea they don't care if they mislead the cross commerce feature.
Any update on cross platform transfer of season 1 pass purchase?
Picked up the game on launch for my Xbox, which was a mistake. I can't stand playing shooters with a controller.
Now that we're finally getting some content, was wondering if my Y1 Battlepass included with the Gold Edition of the game would carry over to PC. I am aware that the cosmetics do not.
I contacted support, and they told me NOTHING purchased on Xbox carries over, even if I had purchased the Battlepass separately. Which... I know is not true. DICE made a big deal out of all your purchases carrying over across different platforms.
So - which is it? Anybody know?
Also would like to know.
Made my original $100 purchase expecting to use my Battlepass across Xbox and PC. Was planning to double dip once we actually started getting content, but not if I have to shell out for the season pass a second time.
I thought cross-platform commerce was one of the major features of this game?

Other customers have said they can't get Battlepass to carry over to other platforms. EA pretty much false advertised about buying things on one platform and having it carry over to another.
It'll be interesting to see if EA pays Sony's fees so cosmetics bought on PlayStation carry over to Xbox.

Either they've lied or that's a bug. They previously stated multiple times that your purchases would be available no matter what platform you were playing on.
It's been like that since day one. The pre-order bonuses and the few extras you got from day one with the gold edition were also locked to the platform you bought them on.
So unless its a bug that has been there since day one without ever beeing adressed, then I would assume its ment to be that way.- Beneffit3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
The battle pass is considered an in-game purchase though, since you have to buy it with Battlefield Currency. DICE and EA stated multiple times that your in-game purchases follow you to any platform you play on.
It makes no sense to make someone buy the battle pass multiple times. Not even Call of Duty makes their players buy those battle pass multiple times. The COD battle passes are available on whatever platform you're playing on after purchasing it once.
Editing my post to add the screen shot from EA's own blog post about cross progression in this game. It says purchases carry over to other platforms and the battle pass is obtained via an in game purchase. You buy it with Battlefield Currency. The battle pass is also not listed in the excluded items list. So according to the information EA has provided, it should transfer across platforms after purchasing it only once.
