I found it funny that they added the limited time 64 player Conquest and Breakthrough maps which are playable in Solo/Co-Op, yet they didn't change the standard Conquest/Breakthrough maps on Solo/Co-Op to 128 player. So they're exactly the same...

To be honest I'm not even that mad anymore. This is why.
Just think about it. We can unlock every single character, weapon and weapon attachment and level to S999 in PvE even if it's less xp per match. The only thing we can't do is unlock the T1 skins for specialists/guns or the T2/T1 the badges.
The T2 and T1 stuff is just cosmetics... That's it!
In COD and other games there are already a lot of skins that can only be obtained in PVP multiplayer.
In the end these are no different.
Besides, the bots don't care what skins we are wearing so again does it really even matter in the end? Especially since some of the earlier skins we can get are better anyways?
The game still has problems but I would say this isn't one of them anymore.

Don't forget about not being able to do weeklies and possibly battle pass progression in bot matches
Anyways, let's see what the player count will be on steam at least after the sale and free weekend - 4 years ago@Jesse165 What part of ALL PROGRESSION, UNLOCKS, ETC, ETC, ETC will carry over to all game modes do you not understand?
People bought this for this very reason. Why people who have BF2 still use mods to unlock everything that was online only from day one.
I’m getting to an age where multiplayer can suck it. I only want coop for BF. I bought this game on a failed promise from the devs.
Only game I play competitively anymore is Halo. Battlefield was my go-to relaxation point or for my kiddos to practice on. Who wants to play the same side for every map… and see nothing happening on screen? To use the same default weapons and vehicles?
Screw EA. Everything is a problem they backtracked or removed that we had from the beginning. - 4 years ago@Jesse165 Keep in mind though, COD Also made stuff available to strictly just Zombies, Ontop of that in Vanguard you are able to unlock all operators via either Zombies or Multiplayer so that ones universal unlocking, and yeah its just cosmetics, But its a lot more deeper than that
Having those restrictions in place for progression also shows that they don't really care about the PVE Community wants which is full progression, Even after they said we'd be able to unlock everything, Most people because of these restrictions believe that we won't be able to do any battlepass advancements due to the weekly challenges not counting and the progression limited - Spidder814 years agoSeasoned Ace
Call me a conspiracy theorist but.....
Im starting to think that they were just waiting for the xp farms after release so they would have a good excuse to put a restriction on these modes, knowing that people bought this for solo/coop and/or custom portal only so they could make as many sales as they could knowing the state its in, and the way the quote about unlocks and progression could be taken by a lot of people.
Considering they knew as far back as July xp farms could be a problem and still did nothing to implement safeguards against the farms. I mean it could have been as simple as putting an xp ban on AI whose health was put below 100% when someone was creating a server. Cant tell me they couldnt implement this simple safeguard (even as a starting point) when they had 5-6 months until release.

Hello I am back. Any DICE reponse here?
- alucardgr4 years agoSeasoned Veteran@sagagt505 wait for new battlefield
- 4 years ago@alucardgr So they clearly don't uncap xp/mastery for solo/coop and custom portal anymore right?
Well I have no plan to buy new Battlefield anymore. - Spidder814 years agoSeasoned Ace@sagagt505 no news yet unfortunately

@sagagt505Essentially, i did tweet totalfps and he responded with a small tweet, but nothing like this, This would be an amazing thing to wake up to on the 20th
Kevin's response was "No need to share this every time my dude, we see it the first time - just we cannot speak to things in the way you're wanting us to speak to 🙂. Great feedback and idea, but that's as much as I can say on such stuff, sorry!"
So as to the person who thought they were gonna make it so that you need to buy shortcut kits, I wouldn't be surprised and that is a great guess
- 4 years ago@Johnathan123YT "Kevin's response was "No need to share this every time my dude"
I think this response, alone, speaks volumes about who they really are as professional <cough> game developers.
There's no point in dealing with this type of mentality, as you can see that it only goes nowhere fast. - 4 years ago
@Jesse165 That's fine if that's how you feel, but I think most of us didn't buy the game for that. I regret my purchase, because casually working toward Teir 1 skins with my friends was a big part of why I bought the game. Everyone of them has quit, over a dozen players. Not all were PVE only but the core group (8 ish) was.
I deeply regret not refunding when progression was initially turned off. - 4 years ago
@Johnathan123YTThat's Stalker 2 image, isn't it? Maybe I should wait for Stalker2 and Atomic heart.
- DominickB34 years agoSeasoned Ace@ShinSagara I regret not getting my refund then as well. If I would have known a month later it still wouldn't be back to how it was on day one I wouldn't have kept the game.
