Progression not working properly for weapons and vehicles (Solo/Coop AI)

@Spinner1981 Use your head, this game is over (as far as major changes and development). They will never give us what we want now in BF2042 (full xp/ribbons/missions in PvE). It would be lovely but it's not going to happen, at least not before the new BF releases (and even then it's highly unlikely to happen).

It's one thing to make a demand for what you feel is right, but it's another to whine & harrass and say untrue things and then keep repeating it over and over again for over 2000 posts which are mostly just repeats of the same group of people anyway having a looong conversation. Do you think they don't notice this?

Don't you think that a petition signed by 100,000 PvP'ers would go a much longer way to showing DICE they have nothing to fear, rather than throwing a tantrum by constantly repeating yourself? No it'll never happen (the PvP mindset is indeed a sickness these days as people put too much of their own self worth into games) but at least it's trying to make something happen by taking action, even if it fails.

But just typing the same complaints over and over again by a mere 200 players doesn't get you much, as you can now see (at least I hope you see).

I'd love to see full xp and all the ribbons and missions available to me in solo/coop...but the thread has already made this clear a year ago by a couple hundred players...all the rest has just been fodder.It's not like there's 50k players complaining, heck theres not even 2,000 players complaining. Think about that.

I thought it would be a good idea to offer a suggestion at this point that would maybe curtail this from happening to us again, in the NEW version of BF that's coming down the road (or implemented in this one too would be great).

But from what you've said... it seems pretty clear to me that you don't just want access to all the stuff by playing PvE....YOU actually are forcing the issue that you MUST ALSO be allowed to use it in PvP. Regardless of what you think Dice promised, that is the mindset of someone who struggles in PvP and wants an easier time (less frustrating dying, not less time spent) unlocking their paid content. Sounds great to me too...but it's not a reasonable expectation is what DICE is telling you, in their own way.

I thought that my idea was fair to both, but no, it will not allow you to use PvE earned rewards in PvP. Good luck with that though...the PvP market will not have it, and THAT is your enemy in all this...it's not just DICE's fault, IMO...it's the mindset itself that we are fighting.

But again, I've said all this a year ago (about how serious and sick the PvP mindset can be for all of us...its extremely unhealthy truth be told). Yes, I understand that there are very well meaning and healthy well-adjusted PvP'ers out here (thank god right?)...but unfortunately, it's not the vast majority.

^this is what I mean^ (what @phoremat just said) when I said many months ago that you guys are shooting us all in the foot by saying things like this which are technically untrue.

Monkey see, monkey do...and the blind leading the blind...stop mouthing things that you know nothing about (the fact is they only promised SHARED rewards, they never promised FULL rewards and in fact warned about the opposite in tweets) ...instead why don't you try actually solving the issue for EVERYONE involved.

This crying/screaming/tantrum crapola for a year now has gone in the wrong direction it needed to. Even I am ignoring it by now, and I am a DEVOUT PvE player who' also upset since day 1 about all this...but responsible solutions can sometimes be more productive than just endless ranting and the same 10 people going on and on (and getting ignored for obvious reasons).

Do you find that after a time your pleas have not worked? Then find another way, another solution that WILL work for heaven's sake (you're all acting like little kids). Stop with the whining already, and if you don't like MY solution then at least come up with something different instead of gimme gimme! whaaaa whaaaa, I need a whaaaambulence! :-)

I've given my opinion and also a valid solution that can end all this for next time around. I hope that a mod will get the suggestion to the team, and I think it would also be a better thing if some of you would come up with some other ideas that are really do-able and makes sense for everyone, including DICE.

In the meantime, and until this thread starts actually getting somewhere, I think I've had enough of it.

It is TOTAL AND COMPLETE BS at this point...they sold a product that CLEARLY STATED FULL PROGRESSION NO MATTER HOW YOU PLAY...as of now they have flat out LIED to the PVE/COOP community and STOLE OUR MONEY 

@Spinner1981 Ok, but you are now beginning to expose your way of thinking to be quite "farmer" like.

You are actually suggesting that 2 wrongs make a right, which is not an intelligent way to solve a problem. You don't solve a problem by offering a solution that provides complacency against game exploits. You're sounding like you support the idea of farming as a solution instead of actually fixing the issue which caused the farming in the first place.

You can't say that the issue I've explained (PvP'ers not liking "their stuff" unlocked against bots and then used against them in competitive arenas) is void simply because there's an un-sportsman like exploitation that can be used as a cheat to get around it. That way of thinking is absurd and is exactly how "farmers" think... but that is not how to build a good game, obviously.

I am a PvE player, and the reimplementation of bots into this franchise is the only reason I bought the game, for which I also paid extra for the premium content by the way which I cannot fully access playing PvE due to the restriction in earned PvE rewards. But at the same time I am reasonable and understand that the best solution is one that works well for both camps here...and this solution does just that.

Anyone who has a problem with having access to all the same unlocks//ribbons/missions/full xp, as you get in competitive MP only needing to keep it separated where it is locked to a PvE profile is just someone who, IMO, is being unreasonable and wants to be able to have an easier time in PvP honestly.

This all being said by a serious PvE player, mind you. My solution (not that its really mine, anyway as its been done before with success) is very simple and very responsible to both types of players. 

I thought the solution would be obvious to all, but I guess not. Go head then...keep crying for what will NEVER come because you simply do not understand what the real issue is. They can't ignore the market that puts food on the table, period. PvP is king for now, as much as I think it's a sickness and all, hehe.

@BigShotttPeople that bought the game strictly for PvE knowing they could get full progression, got crapped on big time. They have been screwed out of the money they spent on the game.

You guys taking notes? I severely hope you are. This cannot go on ignored. You need to change this. This capped progression is all for nothing as people are farming in Portal anyways. And please do NOT GIVE ME
