Proximity Voice Chat would be awesome!

Honestly, the fact that most players don't use Text Chat in most Battlefield Games on PC is why Proximity Voice Chat is 100% a must have. 

How many times have I experienced incompetent teammates going off into nowhere or blocking a path or door. Being ignored by people who could revive you is also terrible and you don't have enough time to type that to the nearest medic. 

As a Team Based FPS game, Proximity Voice Chat would really make it better. 

I also think keybinds to easily mute a specific player would be a cool addon.

( Aim at a player and press "M" or something to mute or unmute a player for Proximity VC. )

    I agree 100%. If Hell Let Loose can do it I don't see why 2042 can't. The only thing I can see holding DICE /  EA back is the irrelevant and BS excuse of increased toxicity. Having played HLL I find the proximity voice to be extremely helpful in giving enemy movements, etc etc. A quick context ping button isn't enough imo.

    I think if portal were to add the option for proximity voice chat

    2042 would kill squad and hell let loose

    just my opinion

    would be the greatest fps of all time

    well it looks like not even normal squad voip is in the game

    i had my hopes too high haha
