On EA’s official support pages and community forums, it’s clearly stated that unlinked platform accounts do not retain your in‑game progress when moved to a different EA account.
Here’s what EA says:
EA Support article "Unlink your platform accounts" states:
“When you unlink a platform account from your EA Account, you can link it to another EA Account, but your in‑game progress won’t transfer over. That means you’ll permanently lose access to: games and game progress, DLC, expansions, memberships, subscriptions, in‑game purchases.”
