If you have a problem with the BF 2042 game then don’t play it or don’t buy it?
That’s your opinion ok! It all started out with BF5 when it was really bad. But overall BF 2042 was the #1 worst game in the franchise! If you are having a hard time understanding me then, I could fix it myself. I have a small ENG like it’s Problems like autism ok, it’s one of them too. My English it’s more American and British.
Sniping Is Broken in Battlefield 2042
Sniping in Battlefield 2042 just feels broken. Take the SWS-10 for example — it’s chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO, the same type of round used in real-world precision rifles that can absolutely drop a target from 800–1,000 meters with a single well-placed shot. That’s almost three football fields of distance where the bullet still carries enough energy to be lethal. Yet in the game, I’ll line up a perfect shot across these massive maps, hit the enemy dead-on, and it does laughable damage. Then the guy turns around, beams me with an M4A1 — a 5.56 assault rifle that realistically loses effectiveness past 500 meters — and I’m down in two or three hits. It makes no sense that a sniper rifle built for long-range dominance gets outgunned by a standard AR at extreme range. It kills the whole point of running a sniper in the first place.
False Ban after Playing Portal Mode - Loyal Player
Hello EA Community Team and fellow players, I am creating this post following a suggestion from EA Help support, as I am desperately seeking help regarding a false ban on my account. My Account Details: EA ID: MAX_Angelina EA Help Case Number: #221608365 The Situation: My account was banned on August 30, 2024, shortly after I played the Portal mode in Battlefield 2042. I have submitted two formal appeals through the official channel, but both were denied with a generic message stating I "engaged in cheating." Why I Believe This is a False Ban: I am confident that the ban was triggered by a misunderstanding. On the day of the ban, I was playing in a custom Portal mode server, primarily fighting against AI bots. During this session, I achieved a high number of kills (around 100-200). I believe the anti-cheat system may have flagged this legitimate gameplay against AI as suspicious activity. I want to emphasize that I have never used any cheat, hack, or unauthorized software. I have been a loyal fan of the Battlefield series for years and value fair play above all else. The idea of cheating is against everything I stand for as a player. What I've Done So Far: Appealed twice via the official dispute system. Spoke with a very helpful EA Help advisor named Manishka on September 12. She confirmed my details and escalated the case. The case status is now listed as "Waiting for Studio." I have been waiting patiently for over a week for an update from the studio team. I am now turning to the forum because I genuinely do not know what else to do. Having my account banned for simply enjoying the game as intended feels incredibly unfair. My Request: Could a Community Manager or someone from the DICE/EA team please take a look at my case (#221608365)? I am asking for a manual review of my game data, specifically focusing on my Portal mode session against AI on August 30. If I truly violated the rules, I would appreciate knowing the exact evidence. I'm starting to become more and more untrusting of everything that comes from EA. I understand you're attempts to get rid of cheaters using secureboot in the new upcoming title. But now it has to be enabled for 2024 as well? I'm not purchasing BF6 as you're security requirements already send out a red flag, giving root access. But you're little scheme fried my ssd and nearly cooked my CPU. There's no way this game can fry a 9950x3d, but windows secureboot sure does the trick. But now I can't even play the game I've owned for years because you are now requiring the same root access. How about we start getting some refunds for these EA games that we can no longer play. You're already on the books with me for $230 for the ssd, now 2042 can get added. I know this won't go anywhere, but I'd like the other gamers here who spent money with EA see the sham that this company has become. To everyone else, I'd stay clear of giving EA root access, especially with all the new laws coming out of the EU pertaining to Safe Spaces online to include games.
The Draugr drone question(s) + HC AI can doge non lock missiles?
TLDR How to activate IR vision in cockpit view? Was this nerfed (b/c videos from a year ago show ez casual hitting aircraft 3-5 time and they go down). What's the best way to get kills? detail: This is kinda weird question, BF redditors say it has like thermal vision (wanda vision lol) in cockpit mode / view. Is there a hot key for that? I see in youtube and reddit posts (but they are all from a year back or so, I guess they had Draugr week in one of the seasons and ppl were giving tips). And it's awesome as enemy troops / vehicles are highlighted . Or does IR only kick in if you unlock the ground radar? But when I fly it, it is not like in their youtube videos, I have no thermal, mine looks normal cockpit like any other aircraft. But as is, for me its hard to see ground enemies, but they do pop up on mini map but it doesn't help cuz it's after the pass. The other question is any tips on how get kills on this thing? The EMP bomb damages and its rare that the AI team will kill that ground vehicle. But hey when it comes to that h-60 with fully loaded, and after 8th gun pass its low health, and I make the run to continue and see the explosion and wreckage of the helo drifting down . . . Point me to good guide. I saw the youtube where the guy loads up the india shipyard on portal and casually cruises to the wall ship of the enemy spawn and guns them out that door, and loops back and drops a bomb for tens of kills) but good luck me with the dang XP pharm (stupid big Farma lol) hoggin the servers The last question, maybe this one should come first, did they nerf it? There's a lot of videos of them going into solo co op or into the air superiority portal. THey literally load up the drone, and pop 4-5 cannon its and the other drones or fighters go down. And they do those nice drawn out flight curves. Their solo videos show the opfor aircraft making casual passes with genteel flying curves. When I try it in solo, it takes like 20 odd hits and most of the time their plane's self repair kicks in because the Felon keeps doing the cobra maneuver and the frog foot just does the ACM (air combat maneuver) dodges. They also tend to do reverse rolls and change angle by rolling or yawing as I line up my gun sight on them. It's kinda insane but and makes it more challenging / me a better pilot (I also got situational awareness kills by not paying attention and getting dunked by crashes), But it makes kills 3-mins longer than the under ten seconds to a guns shoot down like in videos. Or is it just those people are so good at flying? Also I notice both the frogfoot and felon can doge the radar missiles, it conjures up memory of one of my uncle friends who was a Phantom RIO in Vietnam and he said the radar guided missiles didn't work 70% of the time (I'm lol as he says this as the quote "cuz works 60% of the time, all the time" ) or it is in those tight turning moments, only the IR Sidewinder can pull it off? A part of me is kinda not caring because I'm in it for the skins, but actually I kinda like trying to learn the air power here and wanting to see how the napalm or jdam of the drone. TY in advance
Pc goes to stand by mode while playing bf2042
Guys i installed bf 2042 couple of days back. While playing it goes off . Black screen stand by mode and cant wake up until it will be restarted from power supply button. Had 2042 beforee with no issue. Playn several games same time an bo issue what so ever. Cleaned up everything changet thermal passt but same issue. Donu gave any idea what it can be?
