@ChemicalKick We have all played BF4 quite a lot and we all know what a complete * up that was in its first year. Later that game turned out to be one of the best shooters ever made (imo).
There is a scoreboard, just not what your used to. I agree its not great but it still shows me the information I need.
Define 'proper plane controls'. I remapped my settings to match the 'veteran' setup for flight controls and now its fine.
There are classes, don't know where your getting this from. It's probably just not as underlined as your used to and each class is more adaptive.
Stupid specialists is quite vague, stupid how?
Squad creation was a complete mess at the start of BF4 as well. I agree this needs looked at.
Reduced gadget selection? What are you smoking? If you say something stupid like 'there's not enough to choose from', look at the so called 'stupid specialists'.
22 weapons is definitely not ideal in comparison to BF4. I imagine they're going to go down the season weapons route.
Weapons need rebelanced, like literally every other shooter that has ever been made.
I can't say I have ever fallen through the map once in 46 levels of playing. Are you referring to when you die and you can see under the map maybe?
Lastly. No one forced you to pay £110. There is a version at half the price, don't use your poor judgement as an excuse for a games company to take your money. Do you Really need that art book or whatever the extra is that you get?
Again, instead of bashing a game that's not even a week old. Give constructive feedback on how it can be improved. For example, "the original scoreboard should be used with the new one as an alternative". You will absolutely get considerable backing for that suggestion.
What you clearly lack understanding of is this:
Designing, building, coding and improving games nowadays are considerably more complex and time consuming than games from before. As more demanding features are added, and more consumption of that game is increasing, things will slip through. Bugs, server crashes from being overwhelmed, meeting a standard that is higher than ever before across a gigantic community of varying opinions and expectations are just a few of the challenges that games companies meet.
Im not the biggest fan of EA but I'm also a believer that they aren't the worst and if one thing is for certain, they are one of the biggest which means they are of the more capable than other companies to rectify their inevitable problems. How they decide to tackle that, ultimately defines them and their position in the community.
Sfop acting like such a brat, demanding the best of the best at the drop of a hat.
