Yep, peak Battlefield right there, as you said, it's not that I didn't have fun with other BF titles after that but the BF1942 thru BF2/BF2142 era was truly awesome.
The community mods of that time were a large part of what made them special as well, Deset Combat, Forgotten Hope 1 and 2 etc. etc. ahh yes as I said PEAK Battlefield!
Hopefully one day Battlefield can return to that kind of glory.
@Ironhead841 Wow an era were mods were peak and made the game better, rather than mods that just help one bad selfish player and ruin the game for everyone else (I'm looking at you 1 shot modders from bf3).
