Re: Aim Assist Poll

@Anobix I fall under the 2 and 3 leaning a little more towards 2 , but definitely not to remove it ,
In PC player’s defense we have been screaming for years to combat Aimbot and EA goes and gives Consol Aim Assist which was sort of like a slap in the face , but I feel for both sides !!!

AFAIK consoles have had aim assist for a long time. Even on PC if you play with a controller you have aim assist. That's why I don't really care. It's not like it is auto-targeting heads through walls. M&K is an advantage in this game and generally always has been. I remember years and years ago an average M&K team beat one of the best controller teams in the world on Halo just because it is that much more accurate. I'm sure things are more balanced now than they were before. Heck, in one of the first crossplay games on Shadowrun for the 360 between PC and console, console players had a HUGE cone of death that would autolockon basically from a 45degree angle infront of the person in order to make it feel "balanced" but was overdone.

As far as I'm concerned, mouse and keyboard should be an option on console if they are playing with crossplay enabled [which is true for likely 99.99% of the population] this way if they want to use that form of control on their system they can.

@Anobix Apparently BFV had the same strength aim assist as 2042. The problem is you didn't know who was using a controller because there wasn't crossplay then.

After playing around with a controller a bit, I think the problem might be the reduced recoil. There's so little with a controller. Once you get a hit marker, the enemy dies extremely quickly. Reduced recoil also means reduced spread. So there's two benefits to that alone. I think reduced recoil for controllers needs to go.

I highly doubt that Crossplay will ever feel fair to anyone anytime soon. It's probably not any of the Developers fault, but more so Microsoft and how the Xbox network operates.
