@RAMBO2k9 by "you" you mean a lot of people?! Like check out some YouTubers like AKA ART and the comment section on the official Battlefield pages. I'm far from being the only one hating it. And sorry, I don't want to look for another game. I've being playing this game since Bad Company 2 and if certain decisions that are simply meant to make more money and to make it look like Warzone suck, I have a right to voice my frustration right here or wherever I please. So, just stop silencing me. Go ahead and disagree with me but don't you dare silencing me. Supposedly we have freedom of speech which doesn't mean the feedback must always be positive. You are happy with this game being turned into a pile of garbage simply following other games' trends instead of creating them, alright then, it's your choice, but stop telling other people to be silent
I guess we just have our differences, I’ve played battlefield since battlefield 2 on the xbox my favourite was battlefield 3 I feel BF2042 is a breath or fresh air, different to previous battlefields but something the FPS industry needed, all I hear about is complaints about the game being different and nothing like the previous yet I see the same banter and complaints about the COD being a re skin every year, unfortunately you can’t please everyone but what a gaming company will try to do is please the majority, I haven’t had this much enjoyment on a battlefield game since BF4 first release, I do understand of issues and complaints of the game feeling soulless or no class systems but I am hoping Dice sort out these issues, the class system can easily be incorporated thorough specialists and a quality of life can sort out the soul of this game I feel the game play and the potential gun play is very good and it’s very evident this game was released too early I’m hoping there’s some major improvements in the future but I 100% disagree that battlefield is dead.

agree with you, Bf needs a fresh air, but the people is going Crazy, i saw a few peoples saying about the recoil is too low weeks ago, now we have topics here saying "We have much recoil" Really dont understand, if make A, is a mess because B is better, if changed to B, A is better..
Some guys gived 0 in metacritic for exemple, only because dont have the old scoreboard, this is a true opinion? The game is terrify, 0 only because doesnt have scoreboard, and all the rest is a shame too? People hate change. That's why COD and Madden are pretty much the same game every year with a few small tweaks/changes. They get hated on for being the same game every year but people still play them. Bottom line whether it's stays the same or changes people are gonna * and moan.

I disagree with OP overall. BF is far from dead their are some issues but the gameplay is fun.
As for People hate Change. As someone who works in a very fast paced ever changing environment. No. That's categorical wrong.
People hate unconsulted change, changes made without the why, and no real engagement. I don't know anyone who before B2042 said we need specialists, even post Feedback told DICE this was a bad idea. Yet they did it anyway, because by the time beta happened they were locked in.
It's Diablo Mobile all over again. Companies telling people what they want rather than actually asking the question.
- @lookcr Yeah its not a 0 for sure but I dont think its a 5 out of 10 either. Its in that 3 to 4 range imo. It needs some more TLC
- @ghinavirus Yep, i dont played yet, waiting day 19. For sure 0 is extreme, what makes me uncomfortable is the extremism, can i compare with Tlou2 for example, a strong event made people complain a lot, give low grades and forget to evaluate the game itself, is the game bad because of a death in the plot? Certainly not maybe 5 ~ 8 is the real, looks better than BFv for me.
@BicolorZuluHaving been in the military for 30 years and now working for a large defence company, I can guarantee that people do indeed, hate change unless it is of direct benefit to them.
This is regardless of whether said changes were consulted upon or not. Indeed, it was common for consulted changes to end up bearing no resemblance to actual changes but the fact that change was OK in the first place was good enough to make any change.And there will always be some one who says "well, no one asked ME!"

You can't deny the fact that the community is divided over this game and many hate what is happening to Battlefield . We are not here electing a president, we are talking about a game. The reason I spoke about youtubers was to reference someone else, but I also referenced Reddit.
I have an EA Pro subscription, so I've played this game and know what I'm talking about. It's not solely based on what Youtubers have to say
Without Portal I wouldn't have purchased this game. Portal still has some issues, namely the inability to host an experience in my own region.

Whilst many may hate it, many like it so to claim 'Battlefield is dead' is nonsense and does not reflect the thoughts of the 'community' at large.
Don't forget, negative thoughts/comments are usually more 'common' as those happy with the game are generally playing it and enjoying it rather than on here or other social media whinging about it. Honestly I would be ok if they show the scoreboard, but not display deaths. Like you'll know your own number of death but not others.
Maybe make it focus more on scores, captures, support (rez, repair etc.) instead of KD.

Every game is divided, you will never please everyone. I have been hearing the same complaints since BF3: "launch sucks, game is dead, they ruined the franchise". And the funny thing about all of this is that in the end everyone references the previous title (which they complained about constantly) of doing it right: "BF4 sucks, BF3 was done right.....BF1 sucks, BF4 was done right...BFV sucks, BF1 was done right". Yet people still buy and still play.
Things have to evolve to bring in more new people not just cater to the veterans, that's how companies make money, through growth not stagnation.
If you don't like it, well that's great, but putting a blanket term on how this game is dead and "a lot" of people dislike it really doesn't mean much since "a lot" of people do like it. My suggestion is that you just then find a new game and move on, debating in a chat of a "dead game" totally contradicts your statement.

The game is not dead! There are tons of bots playing.

Definitely, the game isn`t dead, just look at the bots playing. Bots or real players in Multi-Player.
- @VoMiTuS124 Have not seen a bot in AOW yet but can not get in without crossplay on and even then it is not playable for me.
- @Twordy I have to correct that, there are tons of players who leave after an game ends and dont close the game.
In the Menue they get automatically Q‘ed again and therefore are afk in the new game.
It happened to me too one time, after the match endet I didnt close the game and it put me back in the next game. - @BicolorZulu Instead of Classes or Specialists why not just let the gamer create a character that can be any class type? Give me a few starting faces/body types/Camo types etc and then allow us to unlock other camos/faces/loadout equipment/guns etc? Seems like that would make many more ppl happy then just having the same 10 characters in every match...

Little did sweet Trokey66 know, he spoke for 98.1% of the people who bought this game and havent played it since November. 105,000 players to 2,400 players in 2.5 months.

98.1%? Based on what? - @Twordy this is exactly why in a post i made with a summary of fixes that need to be done, if they keep Matchmaking they need to fix it.
Players shouldnt auto-deploy at round start if no deploy point is selected, they should be kicked if AFK for more than X time (e.g 10 minutes) and if theyre auto ejected from a server, they shouldnt go back into automatic match making.
Players are just opening the game and alt+tabbing, idling, and earning XP for rounds they arent even playing. Or they finish playing but never close the game properly...and the game sits in the background constantly match making.
