Re: Dealing with harassment and stream snipers?

@sirmadsentv nope they do not care. There is a very famous streamer who has been harrassed since launch, they talked about it once, but the harassment has continued. However, don't be like another streamer and criticize a dev by name in a content video, or they will actually ban you in game. Seems very counterintuitive, but the devs are super sensitive to any negative feedback.

EA and DICE already have our money. Every resource put into this game after launch is a profit loss. They will do the bare minimum or less if possible.

  • Yeah, I know who they are. And, yesterday I saw a streamer being stream sniped and harassed for 10 hours straight, they were able to get into every lobby in the opposite team. The streamer did 100 reports all together. Today they are back stream sniping.

@sirmadsentv Wait?? you watched someone playing this game for 10 hours?? but also they put themselves out there for financial gain and then whine when people get into the same lobby and kill them? both sound ridiculous to me? but that's just my opinion.......

I'm not aware of any special "software" that can match you onto the opposite team. Obviously watching them click the match type and simultaneously clicking it can work for getting into the same match (my buddies and I had to do that whenever we had a group larger than 4 people, absolutely sucks). But yeah, not sure what they are expecting, I don't even know if other games have any form of "stream-sniping" in their rules.

  • You obviously don't know what's going on or the scope of the problem.

First of all. Financial gain? Not everyone who streams does to become big and famous and make big money. By stating this you've already lost my respect.

Second. "people", we are talking the same 4-5 people that repeatedly join the same lobby only to harass one player, using the stream to pinpoint where they are and kill them. For then hours straight the same 4-5 people got into the same lobby just to ruin for one guy, effectively sabotaging for their own team by not playing the game.

These 4-5 people are literally joining lobbies, when one of them gets into the same lobby they tell the others so they can join and then harass. There are times when they end up on the same team, they then leave only to queue up again until they get into the opposite team.

These "people" have openly admitted to doing this saying that "we don't care because EA wont do anything".

You try and be harassed for 10 hours and then not "whine" about it. You have the right to your opinion, but please educate yourself before using it as an argument.

  • Yeah, probably not a software. There's 4-5 people doing this so they can just queue up single and who ever gets into the lobby the others just join that guy.

The streamer is using snipe screens so it doesn´t show when he's entering a queue and also shuts of game sound so they can't hear button clicks etc. Yet they manage to be in the same lobby within a minute.

I don't usually like Streamers because the direction they have steered the game in. That said It's pretty low to follow a guy around and make his life a living hell.

I doubt anyone here can help in the matter he needs to contact EA. Or keep filling out reports however long that takes. Is he sending in video of the harassment?

  • Yep, reporting every game, contacting EA etc. But apparently harassing and following players is not EA's priority.

All staff probably busy working on what the next cosmetic should look like.

@sirmadsentv sounds like its most likely you otherwise why would you care so much? but the point to be fair is EA doesn't stop blatant hac#ers so why do you think they care about this, why don't they/ you just block those 4-5 players in the games settings to never see them again? seems a pointless childish act to try and keep following someone into a lobby,

and your right it is my opinion, don't try to get personal with attacks by telling me to educate myself, I am far more educated than you most likely, so lets leave that there. its a game, just a game, but it will never be controlled by these devs who constantly break it.
